Board of Education of Frederick County to defend a Maryland school board鈥檚 policies that prevent discrimination, harassment, and stigmatization of transgender and gender nonconforming students in the school system.

In response to efforts by the Montana Family Foundation to push an anti-transgender ballot measure that would bar transgender people from using public facilities like bathrooms or locker rooms that are consistent with their gender identity, the 吃瓜直播 and the 吃瓜直播 of Montana filed a petition challenging the legal sufficiency of the description of the proposed anti-trans ballot initiative (I-183) that would go to the voters. The petition argued that the ballot and fiscal impact statements inaccurately characterize the initiative 鈥� hiding both its discriminatory effect and its impact on local and state budgets. The Supreme Court of Montana agreed, ordering the Attorney General to revise both statements.

The 吃瓜直播 and the 吃瓜直播 of Washington filed a civil rights lawsuit against PeaceHealth, a Catholic healthcare organization, on behalf of Cheryl Enstad and her teenage son, Pax, for denying coverage under its health benefits plan for medically necessary surgery to Pax simply because of who he is. The suit claims that PeaceHealth鈥檚 policy of refusing to cover medical care required by transgender people is discrimination and violates federal and state law.

Whether employment agreements that prevent workers from taking 鈥渃oncerted鈥� action to challenge workplace violations conflict with protections in federal labor law.
