Bio

Tyler Takemoto is a William J. Brennan Fellow with the ³Ô¹ÏÖ±²¥â€™s Speech, Privacy, and Technology Project. Prior to joining the ³Ô¹ÏÖ±²¥, he was a Media Litigation Fellow at Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press. Tyler is a graduate of U.C. Berkeley School of Law, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the California Law Review, worked on a capital appellate case, and volunteered with San Quentin News.

Students gather at the University of Washington's Red Square to show solidarity in response to recent Hamas attacks and the ongoing Middle East tensions. Hundreds of people who support Palestine gathered at the Red Square of the University of Washington on Thursday afternoon. They passionately cheered for a speaker, clapped and played drums together in a show of unity during a protest called "day of resistance protest for Palestine." Jewish students on campus also shared their concerns and fears amidst this display of support.
