³Ô¹ÏÖ±²¥

Alaina Ruffin is a paralegal for the Human Rights Program at the ³Ô¹ÏÖ±²¥. Prior to joining the ³Ô¹ÏÖ±²¥, she interned in the Office of Congresswoman Cori Bush (MO-01) on Capitol Hill through the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation.

Alaina graduated summa cum laude from George Mason University, earning an honors B.A. in English Writing & Rhetoric. Through past experiences at the ³Ô¹ÏÖ±²¥ of Virginia, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, and the African American Policy Forum, Alaina has supported policy and advocacy efforts for racial justice and policing and criminal legal reform on local, state, and federal levels.

In her current role, Alaina works in a shared capacity between the ³Ô¹ÏÖ±²¥â€™s Human Rights Program and the Trone Center for Justice and Equality.
